Richard "Pitch" Porsch, a salty and gruff pilebuck turned foreman, passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 74. Pitch was known for his tough exterior, unparalleled work ethic, and deep love for muscle cars and his close-knit group of friends.

Born on August 6, 1949, he never stopped moving from that moment forward. From driving truck to being a pilebuck then foreman with Setons and General construction.

Richard's friends knew him as a loyal and dependable companion, always ready with a gruff joke or a helping hand. At gatherings he would fill the air with laughter, stories of old job sites, and the rumble of his beloved cars.

Richard's life will be celebrated at a memorial service on August 6, 2024 on the 11 AM Port Townsend ferry leaving Port Townsend, then followed by a reception at Fort Wordens Beach Shelter at 1pm.

Richard's indomitable spirit, love for the open road, and unwavering friendship will be deeply missed. Rest in peace, Pitch. May you find endless highways and the roar of engines in the great beyond.
