Tim is survived by his brothers, Brian Wetherill, Rhys Wetherill and Rick Wetherill; his nephews, Bradley and Blake Wetherill; and his partner, Anna Maria (Mia) Lee; and extended family including his step-children and grandchildren.

Tim was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Aug. 21, 1961, to Donald and Katrina Wetherill. Tim graduated from Lakeland High School in Florida and continued his education with the American Culinary Federation and World Association of Chefs’ Societies.

Tim was an award-winning and accomplished professional chef for 33 years, working at private country clubs as an Executive Chef, including the Venice Golf and Country Club and Imperial Lakes Golf and Country Club in Florida from 1982 to 1997, and as a Chief Steward for Seattle’s American Seafood Groups from 1998 to 2010 in the Bering Sea and Pacific Ocean. After returning from Alaska, Tim turned to private catering, and retired in Port Hadlock, with his partner Mia and three kitties.

Tim was well traveled, spending time traveling through Thailand, Germany, Europe, South America, and Alaska. Tim enjoyed learning new culinary techniques and recipes and the experiences he had among the many different cultures he spent time in shaped his love of food, music, and art. Tim was also adept in technology and enjoyed working with computers and tinkering with gadgets.

Tim was a caring and compassionate soul who touched the lives of many throughout his life with his quirky humor and kind heart. He will be missed dearly by many, especially by those who loved him most.

A private memorial will be held by his family Saturday, July 30, 2022.
