Jefferson County Public Health has issued a statement warning the public that even moderate heat can have dangerous effects in typically cool places, such as Jefferson County itself.

As such, Jefferson County Public Health has compiled the following list of the cooling centers in the county, which may have extended hours during high heat events.

You may contact those cooling centers for further details.
