Rosaline “Ro” Eugenia Crump passed away peacefully April 27, 2022 at Life Care Center in Port Townsend two months after her 97th birthday. She had lived at Avamere at Port Townsend for several years.

Ro was born Feb. 25, 1925, in Amarillo, Texas to Walter and Dorothy Goode. At the age of 6 her family moved to Laguna Beach, California, then an art colony of 600 residents, where she spent many days running barefoot on the beach with her childhood friends.

Her first husband, Harry Max O'Bryan, was killed in action on Iwo Jima in 1945. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Guy Harrison Anderson, and by Stanley Roscoe Crump, to whom she was married for 35 years.

Ro and Stan shared much of their free time traveling from Canada to Mexico in their camper with their beloved dog, Tory, and their plush stuffed seal, Cousteau. They were fortunate to travel to Hong Kong, Thailand, Egypt, the Seychelle Islands, and East Africa, as well. Ro also traveled to Europe and to the UK where she was excited to do research into her family history.

Ro was an avid reader of many genres of literature. She loved classical music and had a great passion for the visual arts. She was an excellent sketch artist and watercolorist.

Ro was a loving mother and never missed an opportunity to emphasize the importance of family. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen O'Bryan; her two sons, Gary Anderson and Douglas Anderson; as well as by her stepdaughter, Deanna Crump. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren Julie, Chris, Valen, Victoria, Vincent, Hannah, Tony, and Justin, as well as six great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
