After winning district championships and competing at the state level, the East Jefferson boys and girls cross country teams have yet another reason to look back fondly on their 2021 season.
Four boys and three girls from EJ’s teams made the Nisqually All-League teams, along with Head Coach Alice Fraser winning “Boys Coach of the Year.”
On the girls side, sophomore Aliyah Yearin made first team All-League, while senior Lia Poore and sophomore Tadu Dollarhide made the second team.
For the boys, senior Max Allworth-Miles and junior Sebastian Manza each made the first team. Senior Glen Dawson and freshman Soare Johnston made the second team.
Out of 28 All-League spots in total, the Rivals filled seven, or a quarter, of all spots.
To cap off the major achievements, Fraser’s award of “Boys Coach of the Year” was the icing on the cake to a stellar season for EJ cross country.
