Eric Pickens has received the endorsement of Equal Rights Washington for his support of the LGBTQ+ community. This is a very big You Know What deal (to borrow a phrase from Joe Biden when he was VP). I’m voting for Eric Pickens to represent the 24th Legislative District. I like his positions on housing, affordable health care, and education. As a teacher and president of the Sequim School Board, Eric has personal knowledge of the needs of young families.
A family man himself, Eric strikes me as someone who is called to be of service to our community. It’s not a job to him. He has a background of serving our country in the Coast Guard and also experience as a manager of hundreds of people in the business sector. The job paid well but did not meet Eric’s need to help struggling people realize their dreams. Please join me in voting for Eric Pickens for Washington State Representative in District 24.
