The storm that has dumped snow across Jefferson County prompted the Port Townsend School District to shut down schools Tuesday due to the weather.
All schools in the district will be closed Dec. 20.
The Quilcene School District also canceled school. Brinnon students are expected to start school three hours late Tuesday.
Chimacum Schools started its winter break Monday, and students are not scheduled to return to class until Jan. 3.
