The Great Port Townsend Bay Kinetic Skulpture Race drew 11 entries with its culinary theme this year.
The weekend of Saturday, Oct. 5, and Sunday, Oct. 6, welcomed kinetic racers to make skulptures and don kostumes with food-related themes.
The “Art Kontest and Parade” kicked off the annual event’s “kontrolled khaos” on Oct. 5, prior to the float-test portion of the Kinetic Skulpture Race that Saturday. The race kontinued that Sunday, with its street, sand and mud portions on Oct. 6.
