The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received 626 calls for service between Friday, April 21 and Friday, May 5. Below are selected reports.

At 10:04 a.m. Sunday, April 23 in Nordland, a resident in the 500 block of Schwartz Road reported verbal threats from a neighbor.

The neighbor was taken into custody on harassment charges; he also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The man was warned about trespassing on a neighbor’s property.

At 9:26 p.m. Sunday, April 23 in Port Hadlock, in the 100 block of East Horton Street, a woman said she had let a juvenile borrow a computer tablet while at her house but the person then left the residence with the tablet. It was valued at $200 to $300.

As the deputy was investigating and attempting to locate the computer, the woman called to say she had been able to get back the device.

At 10:39 a.m. Monday, April 24 in Port Hadlock, a woman said her phone had been hacked.

She suspected her boyfriend, and said it appeared he had been utilizing her social media accounts without her permission.

The woman did not want to pursue criminal charges. She was advised of ways she could better protect herself online.

At 9:28 a.m. Tuesday, April 25 in Port Townsend, a bank alarm sounded at a financial institution in the 100 block of Landes Court.

It was a false alarm.

At 10:27 a.m. Tuesday, April 25 in Port Hadlock, a resident reported an underage juvenile who appeared to be intoxicated in the 200 block of Third Street.

The caller said the teen was running around the neighborhood.

A deputy searched the area but was unable to find anyone who matched the description.

At 6:58 a.m. Thursday, April 27 in Brinnon, a caller reported a burglary.

A deputy determined the caller was reporting the burglary at a place from where she had been evicted. The woman appeared to be having mental health issues.
