The East Jefferson cross country team competed against Sequim on their 5k home course at the Port Townsend Golf Course.
The EJ boys placed second, with the girls winning in a tie-breaker.
East Jefferson junior Max Allworth-Miles won the boys race in a time of 17:27.1.
Fellow runner sophomore Sebastain Manza took fourth overall in a time of 19:23.0 for the EJ team and junior Haven McMillen was the third East Jefferson runner with an overall place of seventh in 22:58.2.
The team placed second to Sequim.
The girls raced the two-loop course with Riley Pyeatt from Sequim taking the win in 20:06.0.
Sophomore Camryn Hines claimed second place in 21:59.1 and third overall went to freshman Aliyah Yearian in 22:01.0. Freshman Fiona Fraser was sixth overall in 23:58.8.
The Sequim and East Jefferson girls teams tied with East Jefferson winning based on the tie breaker.
