It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deborah Ezell, a devoted mother, grandmother, and compassionate soul. She peacefully left this world on December 26th 2023. Born on August 21, 1952, in the picturesque town of Marsing, Idaho, Deborah dedicated her life to love, care, and selflessness. As a nurturing spirit, she lovingly raised four daughters and embraced the joy of guiding two grandchildren, leaving an indelible mark on their lives. A beacon of compassion and empathy, Deborah pursued a career as a hospice nurse, where she touched the lives of many with her unwavering support and comforting presence during challenging times. Her commitment to caregiving extended beyond her professional life, as she played a vital role in the lives of her family and friends, always ready to lend a helping hand. Deborah was not only an advocate for others but also a source of strength for those struggling with sobriety. With an open heart, she attended AA meetings, offering support and understanding to those on their journey to recovery. Her impact on the sobriety community was immeasurable, creating a legacy of hope and resilience. A culinary artist at heart, Deborah found joy in the kitchen, creating delicious meals that brought people together. Her love for cooking was surpassed only by her love for feeding others, making every meal a shared experience of warmth and connection. The beach held a special place in Deborah’s heart, where the sound of the waves brought her peace and tranquility. Deborah will be remembered for her kindness, her nurturing spirit, and the love she generously shared with everyone around her. As we grieve her physical absence, let us celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the positive impact she had on the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. A memorial service to honor and remember Deborah will be held on January 20th, 2024 at the Fort Worden Chapel from 3-6. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her love.
