The Port Townsend High School Scholarship Foundation is now accepting applications.
In addition to scholarships for graduating seniors, the foundation also bestows scholarships to students returning to undergraduate or vocational study for their sophomore year of study and beyond.
The current application cycle is now open with the application available at the WashBoard.org under PTHSSF 2022-23 Continuing Education Scholarship. The scholarship is open to any Port Townsend High School graduate who meets the qualifications, even if they have not previously applied for a foundation scholarship.
Application, letters of reference, and transcripts are due by Oct. 31, with awards made during November.
The foundation is a nonprofit organization independent of the Port Townsend School District. Individuals or businesses that would like to sponsor a scholarship or memorial scholarship can contact Jeanie Glaspell, @bmglaspell@yahoo.com, or Lois Sherwood, lolosherwood@me.com.
