NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Jefferson County Hearing Examiner to review and receive comments on a road vacation petition. PRINCIPAL PETITIONERS: Robert Zimmermann and Elizabeth Orling 2722 Thorndyke Road Port Ludlow, WA 98365 LOCATION OF SUBJECT RIGHTS-OF-WAY: Northwest Quarter of Northwest Quarter, Section 20, Township 27 North, Range 1 East DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: Principal petitioners, joined by Rayonier Forest Resources, LP, have requested the County vacate (per Chapter 12.10 Jefferson County Code and Chapter 36.87 RCW) those unopened portions of Mitchell Street and Duffy Avenue as dedicated in the plat of Goodfellow’s Manhattan Beach Tracts, Vol. 2 of Plats, Page 122, and located west of Thorndyke Road. PUBLIC HEARING: The Jefferson County Hearing Examiner will conduct a public hearing at 10:00 a.m. on July 26, 2024 to consider the request to vacate these road rights-of-way.
