A 78-year-old Port Townsend woman was injured Friday morning after her 2019 Nissan Leaf went off the road and hit a utility pole on Highway 19 at Kennedy Road.
The crash south of Irondale was reported just after
9 a.m. March 10. The woman was driving south when her Nissan went off the road to the right, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The impact sheared off the utility pole, the State Patrol reported.
The woman was taken to Jefferson Healthcare Medical Center for treatment.
The crash remained under investigation Friday and the State Patrol said the driver would face charges of driving with wheels off the roadway.
