Following stormy winds and rain that knocked out electricity to more than 3,000 customers on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, most homes have power back.
The Jefferson County Public Utility District’s (PUD) line crews were working throughout Wednesday to restore power to customers, with the majority of affected homes in the Coyle Road and Quilcene areas.
The PUD announced Thursday morning that power had been restored to the majority of customers in Jefferson County, though line crews were still working to bring electricity back to customers on the Coyle.
