Two people were hurt in a rollover car wreck Monday evening on US Highway 101 near Contractors Point on Discovery Bay.
The crash occurred just after 6:30 p.m. March 6 near Milepost 278, according to the Washington State Patrol.
A 26-year-old Sequim man was driving north on the highway just east of Gardiner in a 1999 Mitsubishi Montero when the vehicle went off the road to the right, rolled over, and came to a stop 50 feet off the highway, according to the State Patrol.
The driver and a passenger, a 24-year-old Sequim woman, were initially trapped in the Mitsubishi.
The passenger was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.
The driver was transported by an aid unit to the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation, according to the State Patrol.
The vehicle was totaled and was removed from the crash site by All City Auto Body & Towing.
