The Jefferson County Public Utility District said 4,300 customers were still without electricity Sunday following the strong winds that swept through Western Washington late Friday and toppled trees and brought down power lines.
In a post on social media late Sunday morning, Jefferson County PUD said crews were in Discovery Bay working to restore power, while other crews were examining lines that supply power to Chimacum and Hadlock.
West and south Discovery Bay were likely to be out for the rest of Sunday or longer, according to the PUD.
