Power was restored by Monday for nearly everyone impacted by electricity outages over the weekend.

Strong winds, reaching 28 miles per hour on April 8, cut the power out for approximately 2,700 customers Saturday afternoon, according to the Jefferson County Public Utility District.

Gardiner, Discovery Bay, Cape George, and part of Port Townsend were most affected by the winds.

By Monday afternoon, the utility had a single customer without power on Eaglemount Road.
