THE KID AVE grew up in Jefferson County and writes music about their life. Kevyn Rubio and Tomoki Sage accompany on djembe and drums as talented, local artists, and creatives. AVE's music is inspired by American and Filipino hip hop as well as Filipino Harana–or serenade music. Their songs aim to represent Filipino-Americans, mixed/BIPOC kids, queer people, immigrants, and the intersectionality of all these things.
30 minutes before music starts, a $5/person cover charge (excluding children under 12) will be collected. All funds go to the artists.
