I want to share an incredible and inspirational experience with the citizens of Port Townsend. My 99-year-old father, Jack Caldwell suffered a minor stroke a little over two weeks ago; hospitalized at Jefferson Healthcare for three days then sent to Life Care Center for rehab.

The three days at the hospital were very very good, but we had no idea what we were in store for at Life Care Center.

The loving and knowledgeable care Dad has received there is unbelievable. Nurses, rehab specialists, maintenance and kitchen staff are all incredible.  Directors and administrators also. Going to try to name them all, but I am old and so emotional I may have missed a few.

Cindy, Gillian, Melissa, Gregory, Bob, Brian, Vivian, Salim, Hannah, Cheryl, Bonnie, Adrielle, Deric, Kristina, Mina, Kelli, Alisa, Jason, Fina, Julie, Victoria, Lisa, Amanda, Carol, Kathy.

Dad is improving and headed home next week thanks to all these wonderful people.

And, they do all this with a great sense of humor. I will never ever be able to get over this. Thanks so much you incredible people, and I am so sorry if I misspelled anyone’s name. Blame it on Kelli!
