The Port Townsend Food Bank is blessed to be located in the Mountain View Commons for many reasons. One of the best parts of our location is the amazing crew from the parks and facilities. Brenda, Shawn, and Ian spent literally hours shoveling and de-icing all the sidewalks around the commons Tuesday, Dec. 20. Wednesday morning all the sideways were still clear and safe for our clients.
Any time I need anything, all I have to do is go ask Brenda, the head of the department. Her crew of Terry and Chan get right on whatever problem we might have, with the support of their boss Michael.
I also want to thank this wonderful community for all their support of the food bank.
They say it takes a village. Well, I feel very blessed to live in this village. A happy and healthy New Year to you all.
