September art exhibit centers on clouds

Posted

In meteorology, a cloud is simply an aerosol consisting of a visible mass of liquid droplets, frozen crystals, or other particles suspended in the atmosphere.

To the naked eye, however, clouds can be a magic show in the sky.

Because clouds are ephemeral and always changing, they provide viewers with an opportunity to use their imagination. Clouds can be fluffy one minute and dark and ominous the next. These infinite billowy shapes can project wispy, swirling trails or glowing crimson canopies at sunset.

Members of the Port Ludlow Art League will use a variety of mediums to translate their interpretation of clouds for the September online art show.
