Ten players for East Jefferson’s football team were nominated for All-League selections for the Nisqually League’s first team, second team, honorable mentions, and league MVP for the 1A division.

Senior running back Logan Massie was nominated as the league’s most valuable player after a dominant season of dashing to the end zone and racking up rushing yards. Additionally, head coach Tony Haddenham was selected for the honor of coach of the year for the league.

Five EJ players were chosen for the 1A League’s first team as follows: senior running back and defensive lineman Anson Jones for first team running back and defensive line, senior offensive lineman Marshall Graves for first team offensive line, junior defensive end Siaumau Auseuga for first team defensive line, senior defensive back Lonnie Kenney for first team defensive back, and senior running back Logan Massie for first team running back.

For the All-League second team, three additional players made the team, with two players from the first team making the second for a different position. The nominees were junior Siaumau Auseuga for second team tight end; senior Christopher Fair for second team offensive line; junior Sean Jones for second team offensive line; senior Jerome Reaux Jr. for second team defensive back; and senior Lonnie Kenney for second team returner.

Honorable mentions were junior Gerald Lindsey for offensive line and sophomore Josiah Pennington for linebacker.

The Rivals went undefeated in conference games for the season, finishing with a 6-2 regular season record before being knocked out of the playoffs by undefeated Eatonville High School in the first round.

Seniors Chris Fair, Logan Massie, and Marshall Graves will play in the 1A and 2A All-State game, set for June 2022.
