Meet avid shepherd Dean Hyden and learn what it takes to raise and care for sheep. Dean has been breeding Border Cheviot sheep for 46 years and has won awards in show rings and wool and fiber arts competitions. He is a certified Wool Classer with the American Sheep Industry and a qualified youth sheep judge and livestock advisor through Washington State University. He will teach you how to raise sheep and introduce you to some of his sheep. He will also include tips about fencing, feeding, and shelter. Registration is required.
