Customers at the Jefferson County Transfer Station may face delays for two weeks starting Nov. 4 due to a construction project involving the facility used for dumping solid waste.
Customers will be directed to a temporary site just beyond the usual disposal area on County Landfill Road.
County officials said residential customers can avoid long wait times by subscribing to curbside collection service through Waste Connections, Inc. Weekly or bi-weekly curbside service, with or without recycling, can be ordered by calling 360-452-7278.
