The city of Port Townsend is set to hold its second open house for the Healthier Together Aquatics Center, the municipality’s planned pool and wellness facility.
In partnership with Jefferson County, the Port of Port Townsend, the Port Townsend School District, Jefferson Healthcare, Olympic Peninsula YMCA, and the Jefferson Aquatic Coalition, the city will host the meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 4 at the Fort Worden Commons, 210 Battery Way.
The subject matter will involve public feedback on the planned aquatic center’s feasibility study, and an online version of the open house will go from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 3.
Visit the city’s website at cityofpt.us for details on childcare and information on how to register for the in-person meeting.
For more information about both open houses, go to cityofpt.us/engagept/page/healthier-together.
Feasibility study efforts began in February 2023 as the initial step in rebuilding or replacing Port Townsend’s Mountain View Pool.
