Eight Port Townsend middle school and home school seventh- and eighth-grade boys competed as a team in the Oliveira Classic 5x5 Soccer Tournament at Peninsula College in Port Angeles.
Coach Logan Stegner led the boys through six matches in a seven-person bracket during the tournament Saturday, June 11.
The boys played valiantly, finishing the day with four victories and two losses. Both losses came against the tournament champion team SJSE Legend.
Port Townsend team members included A.J. Ross, Kaleb Kruse, Grady White, Rylen Kruse, Emilio Lopez, Jameson Henery, Nicho McCracken, and Crosby Pray.
