The Port Townsend School District Board of Directors is set to evaluate the performance of District Superintendent Linda Rosenbury later this week.
The board will hold two meetings at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, with the first meeting to review Rosenbury’s performance as superintendent since she was hired for the position in July 2021. That first meeting will be a closed-door, executive session.
During their regularly scheduled board meeting, school board members will also discuss and potentially approve a "Memorandum of Understanding" (MOU) between the school district, city of Port Townsend, the Jefferson County Public Hospital District, the Port of Port Townsend, and other organizations involved with the city’s proposed pool and recreation facility. The MOU contains an assortment of recitals and agreements for collaboration and assistance among all the involved organizations and municipalities for the recreation center.
