The Nordland Garden Club is taking prepayment orders for decorated wreaths and swags until Friday, Oct. 28.
“The sale of beautiful wreaths and swags has been an important fundraiser for the club for years and enables the club to maintain their clubhouse, which they share for local groups, memorial services, birthday parties, family reunions, etc.,” said
Tori Hansen, co-chair of the holiday fundraiser.
“Repeat and new orders are sincerely appreciated,” Hansen added.
Wreaths and swags may be individualized upon request for a theme (sea shells, Seahawks, etc.) and specific color bow upon the fresh greens.
“Club members will be making bows and decorating the fresh greens with local cones, nuts, holly, cedar, and other ornaments,” Hansen said.
Prices range from $30 for a swag, which may be horizontal or vertically decorated, to $40 for the wreaths.
Club members note many horizontal swags have been purchased to lay at the gravesite for those who have been lost.
To place an order, leave a message at the Nordland Garden Club 306-385-5122 or email nordlandgardenclubevents@gmail.com.
The clubhouse will be open this year for pick out, or pick-up of a custom order, between 1:30 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15 through Friday, Nov. 18.
Free, local delivery is also available.
