Neah Bay blanked Quilcene as the Red Devils kept the Rangers scoreless 38-0 in boys football Friday.
The loss dropped Quilcene to 4-4 (2-1) while the Red Devils remained unbeaten at 7-0 (4-0).
Neah Bay jumped out to a two-touchdown advantage in the first quarter and added another eight points in the second to lead 22-0 at halftime.
Jodell Wimberly and Julian Carrick provided the one-two punch for the Red Devils, with Wimberly rushing for three touchdowns and 117 yards, and Carrick carrying for two TDs and 145 yards.
The Neah Bay defense smothered the Rangers’ ground game, limiting two Quilcene carriers to negative yardage and the team’s total to 106 yards in the game.
The Rangers also fumbled seven times, recovering just five of the loose balls.
On defense, Dominic Smith led Quilcene with 15 tackles (10 solo, five assists). Deakon Budnek added 12 (10 solo, two assists) and Maxx Budnek had 10 (seven solo, three assists).
The Rangers will wrap up the regular season on the road with a matchup with Crescent on Saturday in Joyce.
