MythSinger StoryNight Brings You an Ancient Tale

Posted by mythicmorsels

On Wednesday, June 26th, the community is invited to gather around the virtual (Zoom) hearth to hear one of the great old stories, an ancient myth, told by mythsinger Daniel Deardorff (via video) with live music and more from your hosts Judith-Kate Friedman (songwriter, story-carrier, and Daniel's life partner) and Audrey di Mola (storyteller, space-holder, and creative facilitator).

Myths and mythic tricksters teach us to live in challenging times. They hold wisdom distilled over millennia that help humans navigate the foibles of life: love, empire, desire, treachery, poverty, oppression, loss, heroism, grief. These stories help us to connect with the Living World, with kindness, humor, cunning, and grace.

This all ages event is interactive as we kindle community in ways rarely experienced online, and "feed the story" after it has so generously "fed" us.
Reservations via Eventbrite can be made here: tinyurl.com/junemyth

Donations benefit the work of the Mythsinger Legacy Project, restoring the wisdom of myth to culture and community. For more information visit: mythsingerlegacy.org
