Michael J. Fields, age 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at his home in Port Townsend, Washington, on Aug. 29, 2021.
Mike was born on Dec. 7, 1953, in Port Townsend, to John “Jack” and Marian (Both) Fields. He graduated from Port Townsend High School in 1972. Mike met the love of his life Lorie Gallaway and they were married March 12, 1977.
Mike was the proud father of Mathew, born in 1981, and Amy, born in 1983, and the proud grandfather to Bailey Fields, and Lucas, Brody, Mazie, and Angus Palmer.
Mike is survived by his wife, Lorie of 44 years; son, Mathew Fields; daughter, Amy Palmer (Josh); mother, Marian Fields; sister, Kathleen Wadkins (Jim); brother, Joe Fields (Heidi); Aunt Betty Grewell; four grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Mike is preceded in death by his father, John “Jack” Fields; grandson, Lucas Palmer; niece, Sarah Fields.
Due to COVID, a public service will not be held. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation for all the love, support and prayers received from family and friends.
