The Resort at Port Ludlow has been named a Platinum List 2016 honoree by the Touring & Tasting magazine. The Spring 2016 edition recommends and features wineries, destinations and accommodations from all over the U.S. West Coast to emerging wine country destinations.
“The beverage plan reflects our locally sourced food program.” said Debbie Wardrop, general manager. “We mirror the two by working with the wineries/cideries on a personal basis – especially those in the Chimacum Valley and on the Olympic Peninsula, as well as the Northwest region. “Our 'farm package' offers a hands-on opportunity to pick the ingredients for dinner – straight from the soil. After a few hours tromping through local fields, we prepare a meal from the basket that the guest brings back to our kitchen."
“All of the properties we’ve chosen to feature and recommend have been recognized not only by us for their commitment to their guest’s memorable experience, but they’re all also highly rated by other rating organizations,” said Touring & Tasting’s managing partner Dan Fox.
