Local 20/20 hosts Connectivity Fair
Earth Day is on the horizon, and a free event planned for Sunday hopes to inspire people to make a positive impact in the world as Earth Week continues.
Local 20/20 will host a Connectivity Fair from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 16 at Blue Heron Middle School.
Local 20/20 is encouraging people to consider the ripple effects their actions can have. Sunday’s event begins with the Jefferson County premiere of Connectivity Project’s 15-minute film “Interconnections” by local filmmaker Rose Madrone, and will be followed by discussion and presentations from local organizations. “Interconnections” is part of a series of films titled Connectivity Project, which focus on the ripple effects of people’s actions in an interconnected world.
More than 70 local groups are expected to participate in the event, and will showcase their recent efforts in the community.
