The Jefferson Universal Movement Playground — better known as JUMP! — is set to start fundraising for the second part of its all-access play facility at HJ Carroll Park in Port Hadlock.
With a fundraising event planned for Saturday, May 6 at the playground, organizers are hoping to boost the coffers for planned additions at JUMP!, including play structures for 2- to 5-year-olds, a new art gate, shade over the playground plaza, and new paths.
The JUMP! playground was completed in November, granting Jefferson County its first-ever, all-accessible playground. For more information on the playground and Phase 2, visit jumpplayground.org.
