The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received 253 calls for service between Saturday, June 18 and Friday, June 24. Below are selected reports.

At 8:43 a.m. Monday, June 20 in Port Hadlock, a man complained that law enforcement and the management of a rental property had him trespassed.

The man said he was having a bad day with his daughter. He said he had gone to an apartment building to borrow money from a friend, but the property manager said he was not allowed on the property.

The man was told he had not been given a trespassing warning, however.

At 8:43 a.m. Monday, June 20 in Port Ludlow, a woman wanted to file a missing person report.

Authorities received two other calls about the missing man, who was found shirtless. He refused to identify himself and said he was homeless. He was uncooperative with a deputy and was allowed to go on his way.

The man’s family said he was having mental health issues and authorities again tried to contact the missing man.

A search was made of the area, including a search by a drone.

The man was located the following day on Beaver Valley Road.

At 11:44 a.m. Monday, June 20 in Port Hadlock, a hiker reported having a medical crisis and asked someone to call 911. A search-and-rescue team was activated, but the man was able to walk out on his own.

The man had signs of having a stroke, but he refused medical aid and a ride to the hospital.

The man said he would get his own ride to the hospital.

At 2:52 p.m. Monday, June 20 in Port Ludlow, a vehicle was broken into and the owner discovered a catalytic converter was stolen.

The loss was estimated at $930.
