The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received 230 calls for service between Saturday, June 4 and Friday, June 10. Below are selected reports.
At 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 7 in Port Ludlow, a burglary was reported at a storage unit.
Both locks had been broken. A deputy obtained video footage from the business.
It was not immediately known if anything was missing.
At 11:05 a.m. Tuesday, June 7 in Quilcene, a break-in was reported at employee housing at Boulton Farm.
Access was made to the structure through a basement door that had been left unlocked. Numerous items were stolen.
A deputy was also advised that a suspicious vehicle had been seen in the driveway a few nights earlier.
A victim of the crime said she would provide a list of missing items to law enforcement.
At 7:04 a.m. Wednesday, June 8 in Port Ludlow, a caller said windows had been broken out of a work vehicle.
A chop saw and tool box were missing.
At 8:58 a.m. Wednesday, June 8 in Port Ludlow, a vehicle was broken into overnight and a Homer-brand toolbox was stolen. Also missing were miscellaneous electrical items.
