Jefferson Healthcare recently received three 2023 Women’s Choice Awards for stellar hospital service.
The prestigious accolades include: America’s Best Hospitals for Minimally Invasive Surgery, America’s Best Hospitals for Outpatient Experience, and America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Patient Experience.
The Women’s Choice Award is a trusted referral source for the best in healthcare in the United States, and Jefferson Healthcare was recognized as one of the leading healthcare providers in the country.
“By raising our standards to meet the highest expectations-, which studies show tend to be held by women – we’re giving everyone the best we have to offer,” said Brandie Manuel, spokesperson for Jefferson Healthcare. “The entire hospital and all of our service lines are lifted up for the exceptional experience we provide not only for women but for all patients.”
“The Women’s Choice Awards provides consumers with an objective, uniform, and fact-based trusted resource to find the best hospitals in the region,” Manuel added.
Jefferson Healthcare was named one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Patient Experience by the Women’s Choice Award and was ranked 37 of 837 hospitals in the small category.
According to the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, good patient experience positively correlates to disease management, adherence to treatment plans, and health outcomes.
In addition to the Patient Experience award, Jefferson Healthcare ranked in the top 2 percent of the 4,729 U.S. hospitals reviewed for the Best Hospitals for Minimally Invasive Surgery.
Jefferson Healthcare is one of
388 award recipients representing the hospitals that have met the highest standards for minimally invasive surgery across the United States.
Finally, Jefferson Healthcare was awarded one of the Best Hospitals for Outpatient Experience, ranked in the top 5 percent of the 4,729 U.S. hospitals reviewed.
The methodology used to select Jefferson Healthcare is exclusive in that it evaluates patient satisfaction measures with a hospital visit based on the criteria in the Outpatient and Ambulatory Surgery Survey, or OAS-CAHPS. The evaluation process is the only national list that focuses on the opinion of women.
It is the only award recognizing excellence in outpatient satisfaction based on robust criteria that consider the patient experience and clinical excellence.
