The Jefferson County Public Health Department is offering community training on how to prepare for and deal with wildfire smoke.
Jefferson County Public Health is hosting a public Wildfire Smoke Safety Training from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, May 16 at the Cotton Building, 607 Water St., Port Townsend.
Organizers of the informative session say the training will be especially beneficial for anyone who runs events, sports, schools, childcare, or summer camps, as well as for parents.
