A grass fire threatened a vintage log cabin from the 1800s in Brinnon on Thursday, Feb. 2.
The Brinnon Fire Department responded to the 75-by-100-foot grass fire in the 4000 block of Dosewallips Road.
Firefighters helped the homeowners extinguish the fire, protecting the property and structure.
“Just a reminder that even in February, grass fires can escape your perimeter. Homeowners must keep close attention when burning,” Brinnon Fire Chief Tim Manly wrote after the event on social media.
