The East Jefferson Rivals varsity boys basketball team narrowed the gap to earning a playoff spot, thanks to a slim victory over Bellevue Christian School.
With the 60-58 win, the Rivals are currently in the No. 6 playoff seed after leapfrogging Bellevue Christian for the final postseason spot.
The boys have two scheduled games left in the season — Annie Wright School on Tuesday and Klahowya Secondary School on Thursday — as they hope to lock a spot in the Nisqually League playoffs.
