Celebrate Earth Day at Fort Flagler State Park 2024: Engage in Meaningful Activities
Friends of Fort Flagler and Fort Flagler State Park are excited to present a diverse array of activities for Earth Day this year, featuring our inaugural Earth Day fair. Join us in contributing to the preservation of our stunning park by volunteering a few hours of your time. Building on the success of previous years, we will continue to focus on removing invasive seagrasses from our beach near the lower campground and cleaning our beaches of plastic debris.
Sunday, April 21st, 12 pm – 4 pm: Beach Clean Up
Be part of the solution by contributing to our beach clean-up initiative. Help us maintain the pristine beauty of our shores by dedicating your Sunday afternoon for an hour or 4 hours to removing plastic and other debris. Your action will contribute to the overall well-being of our coastal ecosystem.
