SUNFIELD WALDORF EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS• Honor the wholeness in body and spirit of the young child. A reverence for the magical time of childhood is a guiding philosophy. Buttercup Parent-Child class is open to children ages birth-3 years and an accompanying adult. Two classes are offered both spring and fall semesters. This class meets once a week, your choice of a Tuesday or Friday class, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Preschool at Sunfield offers a class specific to children ages 3-4. This program follows the Kindergarten curriculum but is geared to the needs of the younger child. Parents choose a 2-, 3-, or 5-day program that meets from 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Kindergarten programs for children ages 5-6 are offered for 4-day (Mon.-Thurs.) or 5-day (Mon.- Fri.) schedules, meeting from 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The day is structured in a rhythmic way, with time for free play both inside and outside.
