A 76-year-old Port Ludlow man was injured after he rear-ended another vehicle Sunday afternoon on US Highway 101 west of Discovery Bay.

The collision happened just after 2 p.m. June 26 on US 101 near Old Gardiner Road, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The Port Ludlow man was driving east in a 2008 Ford Mustang when he suffered a medical emergency, the State Patrol said, and hit the back of a 2017 Subaru Outback that was also heading east. The Mustang then went into a ditch.

The man was taken to Olympic Medical Center for treatment following the crash.

The driver of the Subaru, a 32-year-old Seattle woman, was not hurt.

Both vehicles were damaged in the crash, and the Mustang was towed from the scene by All City Auto Body & Towing.
