No new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Jefferson County over the weekend, Jefferson County health officials announced Monday.
The last two confirmed cases of coronavirus were reported by Jefferson County Public Health on Friday, Feb. 26.
The new cases involve a resident in Port Townsend who tested positive, and a resident in the mid-county area.
Jefferson County Public Health does not provide detail on individual cases, so further information on the ages and genders of the residents who recently tested positive were not available.
According to a review of case data released Friday and current cumulative statistics, one of the two new cases was found in a person under the age of 20, and a resident in their 60s.
One of the two cases involved a female; the gender of Friday's other infection was not included in county statistics updated through Monday.
The two new cases pushed the total number of coronavirus infections in Jefferson County rose to 335.
