Three new COVID-19 infections have been found in Jefferson County — all in Port Townsend — public health officials announced Friday.
The three new confirmed cases of the coronavirus have pushed the cumulative count of COVID-19 cases to 358.
Two of the new cases were Port Townsend residents in their 30s; the third case was a person in their 40s. Two of cases were female, the other was a male.
COVID-19 test results were still pending Friday for 17 residents. Ten potential coronavirus contacts remained in isolation April 9.
According to Jefferson County Public Health, a total of 21,395 tests have been administered for the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, and 21,020 tests have come back negative.
Based on gender, 184 males have tested positive for COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic in Jefferson County, and 174 females have tested positive.
A total of 25 residents have been hospitalized for the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, and two deaths have been linked to COVID-19.
County health officials reported that 339 people have recovered from COVID-19.
People are considered "recovered" at 28 days from the onset of symptoms if they are alive and not hospitalized, according to the state Department of Health.
