A new format for the local business chamber is bringing in a power player.
The first-ever Chamber Community Connection kicks off with Congressman Derek Kilmer at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9.
This new gathering hosted by the Chamber of Jefferson County will begin with a Congressional Update from Kilmer, a Gig Harbor Democrat who represents the 6th District. An extensive question-and-answer session will follow with an opportunity for the public to talk with Kilmer and his team.
There is no fee to attend and no membership is required. This event is open to any business in Jefferson County.
Following this will be sips and snacks provided by Fort Worden Hospitality and the opportunity to share what’s going on in individual businesses or organizations, as well as community updates.
More Chamber Community Connections will be held regularly throughout Jefferson County at varying locations and times throughout the year.
