The city of Port Townsend’s first open house for envisioning the future of the Port Townsend Golf Course is set for Jan. 11.
The event will be hosted at the Fort Worden Commons at 210 Battery Way and a quorum of Port Townsend city councilmembers will be present at the event. The public is invited to attend and learn more about ongoing efforts to plan and workshop the golf course’s future usage.
The city established a stakeholder committee with representatives from the Port Townsend Golf Club, Olympic Peninsula YMCA, the Port Townsend School District, and other organizations and interest groups to guide the process of envisioning the golf course’s future.
