Cindi Anne Harper, born Sept. 12, 1961 to Ira Dale Harper and Yetta Cohen in Sacramento California, passed away Aug. 31, 2021 due to complications from COVID-19. Cindi was an amazing, loving, wonderful friend, and a fantastic mother, who will be missed dearly. She grew up in Bishop, California, moving to Washington after high school. She loved books, roses, cats, and of course her family. She was a good friend to those who knew her, and she was the best mom her children could imagine.

Cindi worked for many years as a caregiver, taking care of our seniors with love and compassion, but transitioned to working as a manager at the Port Townsend McDonald’s when she could no longer take the heartbreak of caring for people in their last days, who she naturally became close with and treated as her family. She treated many of her co-workers at McDonald’s as her extended family, and looked out for them as much as she could.

Cindi was cremated at her family’s request on Sept. 3, 2021. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date when arrangements can be made. In the meantime, if you wish to leave a memory you cherish of Cindi, you may do so on her Facebook page, which has been archived as a memorial: https://www.facebook.com/cindi.harper.5
