Two people were hurt after their 2012 Ford Explorer went off the road and into the ditch on US Highway 101 near Discovery Bay Monday afternoon.
The driver, a 75-year-old man from Anacortes, was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.
His passenger, a 72-year-old Anacortes woman, was also injured. She was taken to Jefferson Healthcare Medical Center in Port Townsend.
The crash happened just before 3 p.m. Feb. 6 near Milepost 281 on US 101.
The Washington State Patrol said the driver was heading south when the Ford went off the roadway to the right, hit the ditch, rolled over once, and came to a rest on the embankment.
US 101 and Highway 104 were temporarily blocked during the medical airlift.
The State Patrol said both the driver and passenger had non-life threatening injuries, and the cause is still under investigation.
The Ford was totaled in the crash. It was towed from the scene by Northwest Towing & Recovery.
